"O" is in trouble again.........
No reference to God in president's T-Day speech

In what I think almost all Americans would call "odd," President Barack Obama delivered his weekly address with a speech entitled: “On Thanksgiving, Grateful for the Men and Women Who Defend Our Country.”
In the text of his speech, he referred to Thanksgiving as a "celebration of community."
Holy cow! Is that one screwed up view or what?
Somebody ought to remind Obama (and his speechwriter) that when Americans sit down around a meal today and give thanks, they give thanks to God.

Teddy,
That was a weekly radio address:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2011/...nd-our-country
Here is his Thanksgiving Day Proclamation in which he said:
As we gather in our communities and in our homes, around the table or near the hearth, we give thanks to each other and to God for the many kindnesses and comforts that grace our lives. Let us pause to recount the simple gifts that sustain us, and resolve to pay them forward in the year to come.

Some Americans do, some Americans don't - but having the choice is one of those things America is all about.
And so it goes...

Obama is the most secret Pres we have ever had. He has locked up all his records. What a clown. Where are his college transcripts?

I don't understand what any of that has to do with the topic of this thread.

I didn't. Does that make me not an American?
I wonder if Herman Cain was thankful that there are plenty of women to sexually harass or if Newt was thankful that he would be able to cheat on his present wife and divorce her too.
