Letter from Caroline Kennedy

Received this morning: Attached is a letter from Caroline Kennedy to the Commanding General in response to yesterday’s 50th Anniversary of the Green Beret ceremony at Arlington. Her letter reflects her deep sincerity toward the Regiment.

The CG gave a green light to forward this.

From: Reeder Edward M BG

Commanders,

As discussed at Arlington. A note from Caroline Kennedy is attached. She was very appreciative of the honors to her father and wishes a Happy Thanksgiving to all the Soldiers in our Regiment.

Best,

Ed

It's good to know that what we did is acknowledged by her and the Kennedy family....

In the day of senseless twitter tweets; it is nice to see somebody take the time to hand write a note.
