First Zweig and now Ventura

I agree with Jesse Ventura.
The TSA is what happens when we (the government) give 50,000 mall security guards some authority. 99% of those that work for the TSA should be flipping hamburgers and Mc Donald's instead.
We've done this to ourselves for security........

TS,
I hate to disagree, but I'd say 'we' did it for the ILLUSION of security!

"ILLUSION of security!"
That's what the Sheeple wanted, an "ILLUSION of security" is what they got along with tens of thousands of smart-mouthed, stupid, Gov welfare workers calling the shots.
I wonder if Jesse Ventura needs a cook......

I'd also add fear run amuck.
EDIT: And the illusion of progress being made.

The add is only 14 seconds. Tried to find one without. The clip is a little over a minute.
Edit: There is a "skip this add" feature.

ON Quitting?
The State of affairs in the USA is sad, Lawyer- Politicians and lobbist & the ultra rich run this country to enrich themselves,"GREED IS GOOD", that is their code of conduct, Rather than QUIT because SF never quits, we do our best and come up with a solution that will solve the problem. I don't see a difference between the political parties, The current administration is a socialist, communist, facist form of a cartel, while the other party is the epitomy of GREED. I do not think we, the american people can change things at the November elections, but I have enclosed a number of statistics that should worry the 1%. Firearms produced by US manufactures in 2009; 5,417,003. % increase in firearms produced over the number produced in 2008+29.1% . The number of firearms produced by Ruger in 2009=933,559. The number of firearms imported into the US in 2010=2,508,888 and last the number of firearms imported from Brazil in 2010= 697,350. Source of these numbers is November/December issue of American Handgunner magazine 2011. The "Wall Street Prosters " are just the begining, Guns, Ammunition and Gold are the currency of the future, if you have them; you will probably be able to get anything else you want or need..Just my .02cents worth on what is the "Future" Regard's' TK

Especially if the TSA agent said, "Mr. Ventura it works better with ladies if you stuff the banana in the Front of your pants."

The way this country is going, if it isn't driving you crazy, you must be brain dead or paid off-- and still brain dead.

I've pretty much stopped flying after being stopped twice and put through the gauntlet. Once they said it was because of gunpowder residue detected on my carry-on (fair enough, it goes to range with me) and the second time I supposedly had a fertilizer detected on my sneakers from running - get this - in a national park!
Flying has become such a hassle that I only do it when absolutely necessary. I discovered recently that cruises leaving from NYC are a great, hassle free vacation, and pretty much drive to all of my other adventures.
Oh yeah, but every move you make in NYC is recorded on a police camera, so I guess I have to limit those trips also!

I'd wager it won't be long before TSA is manning Weigh Stations, running highway check points for passenger cars and you decide only to drive out of town when absolutely necessary.
