WI: All the Hysterics Were Right!

Apparently all the people who feared that people in civilian clothes carrying pistols in public places could pose a threat to themselves or others were right!

The day after Wisconsin's ACT 35 (Shall-Issue Permit Law) went into effect we have THIS!

Oh, the ignominy of it all.

The incident occurred when the officer stopped in front of Auntie Annie's Pretzels and reached for his wallet, and the gun went off.
I think they left out the part where he put his finger inside the trigger guard of a loaded and off-safe weapon and pulled the trigger.

Maybe he needs remedial training on wallet versus pistol ID?

Funny thing is the public is so ignorant about firearms that they actually believe that BS excuse.

I am sure if it had been a concealed carry holder, the report would have been substantially different.

Down here, we just have people like him carry their bullet in their shirt pocket.
