SAS legend passed away

I used the search function to see if a thread had already been opened on this but met with negative results.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...rt-attack.html

The broken heart might only be a fancy sugar coating for the press to use, but that doesn't change the fact that an acclaimed and reportedly ( I never had the honour to meet him, let alone doing business with the late) well respected member of the unconventional warfare community is no longer amongst the living.

RIP

i remember watching his show "SAS survival secrets" and getting so amazed by it that i had to download it.

he was a great guy and above all a great soldier.

Rest in peace sir.

in all honesty when i read about your experiences here it makes me a little bit jealous that since i dont have the balls i might in this life never be able to experience that bond, the camaraderie and the honor that the SF men have when they are a part of SF.

respect to all of you.
