Parents of First U.S. Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

Foxnews did a story on Nate. Nate's mom and dad are being interviewed. I recognize some of the 1st Group guys in Nate's pictures.

Nate was a great soldier.

Saw it. Good piece on Nate. Not the first killed, the first killed by the enemy. The AF did a number on us before that.

Also saw the 7th Group Major on AFG. Another great story.

Saw Nate's parents and it was well done....I'm afraid they will not be able to weigh their sacrifice evenly with the end result.....nor will many.

RIP Brother, you're missed.

I had the honor of serving with Nate in 2nd Ranger Bn, and again during the Gulf War. Going "TDY Enroute" to PLDC was one of our highlights as we began our SF Careers.

I'll see you again on the Final Objective.

The final cat thought responsible for Nate's death was named Narmoo Jan. He was captured by AMF on 03 Jan 2002.
