Analytical Survival

Gentlemen,

I searched this forum and another across the street to no avail. I came across this channel while watching a wilderness survival program on Youtube. Would you suggest this guy's information to be valuable?

Valuable? To who?

You come here and with your third post ask us this?

Most of the information is pretty basic stuff out of manuals with a few side observations. I don't think any of the QPs here are going to drop what they are doing and study the tapes.

But knock yourself out and watch them all. You might learn something.

His target audience is you not us.

Anyone that starts off with a bio like this,,

About Me:

As an ex-U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Beret) enlisted soldier, it is my hope that you wisely consider the varied information contained in these videos. Much of it was gleaned from my first-hand experience in the field; I then further modified it to a civilian-friendly level.

Because of my current profession, I must necessarily maintain a low-profile (thus I post no photos of myself).
Pandering to the airsoft crowd..

But why is he spending a lot of his time doing Boy Scout videos??

Get a couple Field Manuals (FM), read...

JJ_BPK manuals are simple but damn informative

I know these manuals are long forgotten to you guys but as I've read through just the RANGER Field knowledge I really like how it breaks down situations into basic analytical thinking for action and reaction which seems small but just like assessing a bleeder in the ER. I speaking from a civilian stand point. Thanks for the manuals...Damn good knowledge dont take much to please my simple minded ass

Appreciate it JJ_BPK

The guy claims Col Robert Howard was his CO.

In this world there are three concepts of survival -One is the Post Apocalypse Mad Max style, one is to hole up in your basement until Moroni blows his horn and the last is the Hiawatha back to native. All require that you know and practice something useful beyond how to type on a computer.

In my opinion, if Moroni blows his horn he should not be standing on a plastic drum to do it.

Morale of the story is even I can claim to be special forces and make a video!!!!

If you have money check out the Nols Programs, they certify in all kinds of wilderness stuff that allows you to teach, take part in rescue, etc.
