Citizen Ticketed For Directing Traffic After Police Fail To In South Pasadena

As a side note - I've seen accidents on narrow two lane roads. Some drivers stopped to help the injured, others to help direct traffic - all while waiting for PD and EMTs to arrive. Guess we should all just drive on by now.

Gerrish said Ehrlich cleared up the mess in 10 minutes. After 15 minutes, South Pasadena police say they finally received a call about their newest traffic officer.

Maybe they could have 'deputized' him at least temporarily
