"Forty five years after Long Tan, veterans of that epic Vietnam War battle are to be honoured with a unit citation recognising their extraordinary gallantry.

Governor-General Quentin Bryce will present the unit citation at a function at Gallipoli Barracks in Enoggera, Brisbane, home of the 6th Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR).................."

Bit overdue - but congrats.

I vaugly remember the ANZAC atillery unit in support laid down so many shells, that they either couldn't fire any more or they ran out of munitions or something like that.

GO ANZACS!

Well done lads.
