Safety

So it's acceptable for people to get hurt. Because they wanted good camera footage.

I'm by no means an expert but I fail to see how having a cameraman sitting between two paper targets is contributing anything to the training.

The clips of him in that video talking about how safety is non existent will not serve him well in a law suit after someone gets shot or killed.

LOL, this is what happens when individuals like James Yeager think they have the creds to run a "tactical shooting" school.

About as stupid as some LEO instructors I know at the "Surefire institute" teaching everyone (law enforcement) to hide behind a sheetrock wall and shine flashlights into the room with armed bad-guys...... also "blind" them with light.... stupid is as stupid does.

Someday the spouses of those police officers killed in the line of duty that took training from individuals like these might start suing for gross negligence. Until then anyone with a gun is a "operator" or "Tactical" instructor......

Tripod and remote shutter release? I guess I should open a tactical training school...

If bullets are coming my way, I sure as hell want to be able to shoot back with something more powerful than a friggin camera.... just saying, y'know...

And to intentionally sit downrange, is plain old STUPID, stupid enough that Darwin and the gene pool cleaning solution should win.

You know TS, if you blink your flashlight in their eyes fast enough, they won't be able to see where you are! Also, if you blink your light rapidly 4 times, slowly 3 times, then fast again 5 times, they will have a seizure so you can run up and kick them in the nuts!

Am I the only one here who is reminded of a trust building exercise that used to be taught? The exercise was more dangerous but I believe the participants were a little better qualified.

So, using his "logic", to achieve even greater effectiveness in his classes, his students should shoot toward the general direction of each other to simulate a 2 way shooting range?

Witness numerous "hem and haws" in his breathing/body language and his responses when splainin'/defending his position, as if he doesn't really buy what he's selling.
