US Women
I don't care who you are, you have to admit that was one hell of a game. 55 minutes of one man down. Their conditioning is what won that game.

I deeply miss Anson Dorrance and the UNC legends…
Good luck, ladies!

We're all watching to see if anybody's gonna do a Mia Hamm this time, too, by taking off their jersey and running around in their black sports bra.

That was Brandi Chastain ...and the only reason I watch women's sports.
Yes, awesome result... now that Germany and Brazil gone, the US are probably the 2nd favored after Sweden.

The U.S. should have won 1-0 in regulation. A couple of bad calls- No PK should have been given to Marta and the second chance for the PK should not have been awarded.

The first PK was not overly controversial - the refs flat out fu@ked up on awarding the second attempt.
The refs did their best to eliminate the US women and failed.

Good match up in the Final
"Final is Sunday @ 1445 EST"
USA v. Japan in the final - looks to be a test of Japan's unmatched team skill, ball possession, and ultimate team play versus USA's individual athleticism, winning history, skill and strength of will.
Good luck USA !
