Arno Bernard

[Shark Bait]

I just ordered this knife today. It was made by Arno Bernard, South Africa. His son also makes knives, but I am pretty certain this one is made by Arno Bernard, Sr. I found many good comments about his work online. Most of his knives are smaller than this. I am realy looking forward to it's arrival. It's a little flashy for tactical use, but those days are about over for me anyway. Does anyone else have experience with his knives?

I've had two of his very much smaller Trout & Bird and Small Hunter sized knives for a few years that I bought through Knifeart and Art Knives.

Attention to detail and fit/finish are both excellent...Both ATS34 and handled in warthog 2.875" and Mammoth bone 3.125" and both wearing Cape Buffalo sheaths.

Your knife is lovely and should make a good camp knife and/or Yanagi (slicer).
