Airborne & Special Operations Museum traces North Carolinians' role in Army

"The names are there, 10,000 North Carolina military casualties since World War II, stamped in metal like tiny tombstones.

The collection of dog tags dangling from wires is part of an exhibit opening Tuesday at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum in downtown Fayetteville................"

If you've never been now is a good time to make your first visit. Don't forget the SF Museum on Post.

I visited the Airborne & Special Operations Museum on advice from a QP here last year. I really enjoyed it and could have spent more than the two hours I had allotted. I would recommend it to anyone here who has not been. I did not make it on post to the SF Museum, but will make a point of it next time I am in the Fayetteville area.
