The fact that a bunch of scum bag CEO's. Who never broke a sweat in their life. Are going to get rich off the backs of real warriors absolutely disgust me. But when your PA people market you like Pop stars, what can you exspect

There are lots of companies out there producing stuff with all sorts of military logos and such - including ST-6 - and have been for years. How the hell can anyone do this now? Oh, wait...I sense a blinding <SEG> and high-fiving in the legal force by hundreds of patent attorneys filling conference rooms across the universe.

And so it goes...

I have sometimes wondered why the military does not trademark some of its more popular or well known symbols or names. Didn't we learn anything from Space Balls (to quote Yogurt, "merchandising is where the real money is made. Spaceballs-the T-shirt, Spaceballs-the Coloring Book, Spaceballs-the Lunch box, Spaceballs-the Breakfast Cereal, Spaceballs-the Flame Thrower)?
Why not put licenses on military logos or names and any money raised could be donated to veteran groups? The Hells Angels trademarked their logo and besides having the crap beaten out of you for producing it to sell, one would also face legal consequences.

Isn't it illegal to profit off the Presidents name without permission. I remember hearing something about this. If so, why don't they make the same rules for the Military names and symbols. Or make them give profits to Veteran causes.

Why, are they re-making "Pinocchio"?

Does Disney own DreamWorks or Pixar? There was a Pinocchio type character in Shrek.

"I'm a boy!"

Pinocchio could be cast as a Hillar, Wolfgang or Skippy.

I am curious...why would a top secret organization get in a legal battle with with a 6-foot tall talking mouse over a logo that represents a unit that doesn't exist?

Sounds like one of those operators dialed the wrong number. Any old Mouseketeers hanging around who can help them out of this mess?

Disney and Pixar had a collaborative relationship between 1991 and 2006. In 2006, Disney acquired Pixar. Source is here.

100% Right........... I was waiting to see how long the Navy would jump on this grenade. All are 1000% right on the fact that now every military branch will be filling a trademark(s) and patent(s). This will end up effecting a lot of Associations, Company and small business'.

Very SAD!!!!
