Nepal

Have you guys seen the Nepalese response to the beheadings of their citizens?

We may not be at war with Islam, but looks like there are those that are. Wonder what the Russky response to the school event will be?

I think they will...And I can't imagine any sane rational human being, not being apalled when children are those being targetted by terrorists.

Each year, about 200-250 slots open up in the British Army's Brigade of Gurkhas, possibly the toughest light infantry unit in the world, and far more selective than the Royal Marines or the 75th Ranger Regiment. For those 200+ slots, about 28,000 Nepalis compete. There are plenty of Nepalis willing to put their lives on the line for a cause, and revenge is one of the most easily understood ones.

On the other hand, though the article mentioned that Nepal is officially Hindu, thus implying that what is happening now is solely sectarian, Nepal has an active Maoist insurgency. Their leader, Prachanda, will no doubt attempt to capitalize on the terrorism in Iraq and the violence at home. The place bears some watching.

The militants might think twice about killing any Nepalese if they (British/Nepal) sent in a couple hundred Gurkhas and let them loose.

Question I'm confused by this statement.

Quote:
"He said the men were hired by a Jordanian company to work in Amman and then taken to Iraq to work. Nepal forbids its citizens to go to Iraq."
I've seen hundreds of them working in Iraq.
