FORT BRAGG, N.C. – An explosion at Fort Bragg has injured 10 military personnel during an artillery exercise on the Army post in North Carolina.

The explosion Monday night injured eight Marines and two Navy personnel from the 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, also in North Carolina.

Division Staff Sgt. Jayson Price said Tuesday the cause of the explosion was under investigation but that it occurred during an artillery live-fire exercise.

Price would not release the names of those injured and did not have details about the extent of the injuries.
