Dolphins are cool. I feel bad that they are kept in amusement parks.

dolphins
Don't know how many times I have tried to dive with Dolphins and even though I would enter the water gently, they were NO where in sight!! It would be cool to dive with some domesticated ones but I believe they belong in open water!!

That was awesome.
I've had dolphins come right up to me when I am standing in the water getting ready to water ski. At first I was nervous but they just seem curious as to what you are. Anyway, they are amazingly social. Very cool video.

My relatives out in Steilacoom, WA were telling me about how my cousins used to take swimming lessons out in Puget Sound during the summer back when they were little. My aunt and other parents would ride in little boat behind the children as they swam, taking head counts every couple minutes. On some days they ran into the problem of having a few more heads than expected. It seems there was a local pod of porpoises that would come and swim amongst the children for fun. All the kids were wearing dark colored swim caps and wet suits for the water's cold temps and when the porpoises would mingle in among the children, the parents started to get confused by how many bodies were supposed to be in there. I imagine the confusion didn't last long as the porpoises would blow out a breath each time they broke the surface. Still, I thought it was a pretty cool story.
