Descanse en Paz Amigo. I worked with Angel several times while stationed in Panama. He taught me a lot about being an SF Soldier. Hopefully there are still enough of us left working in Peru to give him the sendoff he deserves.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

This news makes my heart heavy......

I had worked around and with Angel for the last 12+ years in Peru. He was a Friend and a constant Professional and a great example of a Quiet Professional for all his years in and out of Uniform. Angel was always there for all of us and loved his job. His job was as close to doing what we do on active duty and he was surrounded with many other retired SF Brothers young and old. He loved his Mission and was geat at his job just like his many years on Active Duty around the world.

This is a true loss to the U.S. Government, U.S. Embassy in Peru, its Mission and our Community.

Rest in Peace Angel
