That put a big smile on my face. I know a few guys like that..one soldier wanted to be a 19D so bad that he spend his own money on a scope and other attachments for his rifle while deployed. Never got to put them to use though.

As sad as that is, at 64 and being a former pilot. I would do that just to be doing something productive. I would take third shift on weekends and free up some to the the young "studs" for something more active.
