18X/SF current age requirements

I haven't posted since my intro - I normally just browse and keep my mouth shut. But, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger now and have a question. I have been training for this for a year now, have lost 50lbs of fat-ass weight, and am ready to do this.

Although age has been discussed in several forums, I'm wondering something: I'm now 34 years old, prior service Army. Am I too old or are there ways to get around the age cutoff? Also, What IS the age cutoff? My recruiter can't seem to give me a straight answer. I'm sure this is posted somewhere on here - a little guidance to that thread would be very much appreciated.

As always, thanks for your service behind the curtains.

First go up to the top of the board, mash the search button, type in what you want to look for and then read the threads.

Or you could contact the recruiting battalion and ask them directly what the straight poop is as of today.
