HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

To all of you currently in uniform, I wish you first and foremost, a Happy New year. I sleep easy knowing you are standing watch. I will raise a glass tonight in your honor, thanking you for defending this Nation and my Freedom's.

Someone once asked me; "Who are your heroes?"

You men and women in uniform, you are my heroes.

To all that have gone before me, a toast, I will someday see you on that Final DZ.

To all you FOG's and FAG's and everyone else, Happy New Year, and your safety briefing: if you swim don't swim alone, if you drink don't drink alone, and most important, if you have sex don't have sex alone!

Thank you TS - and heartfelt good wishes to all - may we also remember those who can not be here to join us tonight in celebration.

Days of Auld Lang What?

Auld Lang Syne
Robert Burns

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne

We twa hae run aboot the braes
And pou'd the gowans fine;
we've wander'd mony a weary foot
Sin' auld lang syne

We two hae paidled i' the burn,
Frae mornin' sun till dine;
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin' auld lang syne

And here's a hand, my trusty friend,
And gie's a hand o' thine;
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
and days of auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne

TS,

Well said, and best safety brief under 20 minutes I've ever heard.

A happy and safe New Years to all.
