Some Knifemaker won a 3-gun match recently
Wonder if he'll ever fess up... apparently not only does this guy make cool knives, he is a decent shot too.... Congrats, mystery man.

I happened by his shop yesterday and he allready had his trophy and plaque sitting on his desk. He was very humble about it and praised Longrange and TR for their coaching.
sidenote- Hope that wine was acceptable Mr. H.

Beautiful trophy and plaque.
Hope he finds an honored place for them in the house.

It was a huge honor to be invited to attend and observe the 2010 USASOC Sniper competition.
Thanks to Spartan Blades for sponsoring me.
It was great to meet many men there including Longrange1947.
He is a kind and gentle type, just like the some of the logging bosses I've known in past years.
While there a vendors shoot was held at the end. If the pic uploads...here is what I got to bring home.
To the real shooters, thanks for what you all do.
edtied to add: the awards are what I brought home, all the rest is from here.

Bill - Nice bling and well deserved. Looks like a "round" is on me next time we get together (about three weeks if I'm counting right!).

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
