Did I miss the "Freeze Congressmen's pay as well as all congressional staffer's pay" statement in there?

Great idea, especially when our government is working hard to create hyperinflation by monetizing debt.

Nothing is too good for our soldiers, so that is what they will get.

Great thing to read on Veteran's Day.

And for 3 years?? I'm guessing the Presidential Commission doesn't realize that you can find WIC offices in any given large military post - oftentimes right next to the commissary for convenience. It should humiliate them that soldiers and their families need welfare assistance to live now - imagine what it would look like after 3 years of pay freeze coupled with inflation.

I'm guessing this can't get past Congress. Can you imagine having to campaign on "cutting military pay and allowances?" That would be brutal. But - most of those dorks already lost their jobs so they may not care.

I remember when the Economy was soaring, especially during the .com boom. Federal and State workers were at the bottom of the pay scale. Now that Government jobs are some of the most secure jobs out there. They want to cut them back and cut their pay.
