What a season for the SF Giants!
With all the serious challenges both economic and international our country faces, something as simple and American as your home team winning it's first World Series in over 50 years is very exciting.
I am not a huge baseball fan, but friends of mine out here have memories of watching the Giants since they were kids on their Grandpa's laps, and it was very emotional for them. I guess if you can pitch you always have a chance.
