I bring up the happenings in Turkey about it's slide into the Islamist camp.

Bangladesh is another secular country kept that way by the courts. This is a wrestling match between the secular and the religious. The religious side gets a few more votes and the country can slide just like Turkey is doing.


".....The governing Awami League prides itself on its secular credentials.

It says that it wants to challenge the power of Islamic conservatives.

The court ruled that "secularism is one of the four principles of the constitution... and no-one can be forced to wear religious attire in the secular state"....."

We'll have to keep an eye on happenings down there.
