A Memory Maker, Rudy style

The Menomonie High School team has been a powerhouse in its division for many years, and was easily winning their homecoming game when the coach called a timeout to chat with the opposing coach...

Menomonie (WQOW) - Teamwork takes on a whole new meaning at a recent football game.

Friday night, superior traveled to Menomonie for a conference game. Menomonie won 52 to 14, but it was a touchdown by senior Sam Kolden that will forever be remembered. Sam is developmentally disabled.

It is so nice to read a story about sportsmanship and not about a potential NFL strike due to labor relations. I won't go to another NFL game if they strike. The NFL doesn't have a monopoly on the game. You can't beat spending a Friday night under the lights watching student athletes give it all. Good on the coaches and players in the article. Awesome stuff.
