WTB - MAGPUL MIAD Trigger Guard
HELP! I broke the wife’s carbine doing something “less than smart” on Saturday. While tripping over my own two feet I fell and smacked the trigger guard breaking one of the tabs the trigger guard was pinned to. (I’m sincerely happy it didn’t result in an AD/ND – lots of people standing around at the time.) The simplest repair I can think of is to use a MAGPUL MIAD Grip kit; unfortunately, they discontinued the version with the integral trigger guard. This afternoon I found several sources for the current version but nobody has the old one in stock. Now for the groveling part – do any of you gear gurus that purchased the older MIADs still have a trigger guard you aren’t using that you would be willing to part with? I’m willing to deal if anybody’s got one. I really don’t want to have to get a new lower; busting this one was bad enough.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
~ Marcus Tullius Cicero (42B.C)
