For the wife out there

For the wife out there

Operation Marriage: Burden of silence worth peace of mind

"Navy wife murdered (Posted Sept. 15): How many op sec briefings have you sat through? How many times have you been lectured about not letting strangers know when your husband is deployed? Like me, you've probably heard it all so many times that you don't even bother to listen anymore................"

I posted it to my Facebook page. Lots of military wives and other women can use that advice!

This young woman was a blogger, according to an article from Milblogging.com there are many spouses who do. Maybe not such a great idea in retrospect. One can only wonder if she was targeted from that activity somehow, or her myspace or twitter accounts.

RIP.

It seems there are special rules and penalties when a hate crime is committed. I think there should be extremely onerous penalties if a wife of a deployed soldier is harmed in any fashion.
