Nations unite at International Folk Festival

Nations unite at International Folk Festival

http://fayobserver.com/articles/2010...3319?sac=Local

"This weekend, Fayetteville celebrates its rich fabric of cultures with the 32nd annual International Folk Festival downtown. You’ll find food from around the globe, music, children’s activities and crafts. But the highlight is today’s Parade of Nations, when scores of people representing their homelands proudly march down Hay Street in a colorful, boisterous display................"

The parade was great as usual. Loved the Okie drummers, all the ladies in costume, male and female dancers, the kids and everyone watching - all having a good time. And the food? After the parade I ate "breakfast" in India and 15 minutes later had lunch in England. Lines at other countries were way too long for me to wait.

France an Germany - didn't see them this year and missed them in the food court.

Hot but fun

Only less expensive.
