Another home invasion most likely illegals, funny how the Phoenix PD will not release the "race" of the kidnappers......

We sure wouldn't want the good people of Phoenix, AZ to think it's unsafe here. TS

PHOENIX - Phoenix police are investigating a double kidnapping that occurred Tuesday morning. They said some people went to a home at 36th Avenue and Luke, north of Camelback, posing as police officers.

The fake officers then demanded cash and tied up the homeowners, police said.

Police said the suspects then ransacked the house and kidnapped two people inside and later demanded money for ransom.

Both victims have been released.

3 people invade Phoenix home early Tuesday

Associated Press - September 14, 2010 10:04 AM ET

PHOENIX (AP) - Police are searching for two men and a woman following an early morning home invasion and kidnapping in west Phoenix.

Investigators say the trio were impersonating police when they broke into a home in the area of 35th and Missouri Avenues about 2 a.m.

Two men, a woman and a child were home at the time.

Police say the kidnappers ransacked the home demanding drugs and money before taking the two men away.

Phoenix police Sgt. Alex Ortiz tells KTVK-TV the kidnappers later called the woman and demanded a cash ransom for the men. The two kidnap victims were eventually released north of Phoenix, possibly in the Anthem area. Neither was hurt.

Most home invasions aren't random. Chances are very great that the suspects and "victims" knew each other. Guys don't randomly pick houses and demand drugs and cash.
