Perseids meteor shower tonight

Just thought I'd share this with you gentlemen, tonight is the best night to view the Perseids meteor shower, the best shower to be viewed from Northern America. Be a good one to bring the family out to or cheap date. Here's an article from a local paper.

Thumbs up

Thanks Fonzy. I'm a bit west of you in the Shen. Valley; this calls for a late night drive on the BR Pkw.

Sitting here at 7,011 feet. Got my Chaise lounge ready. No city lights for many miles. Binocs-check, El Jimador-check, Ipod-check, 1911-check.
Just hoping the cloud cover clears off.

Saw some of it Monday night / Tuesday morning, without knowing which shower. It was a very neat sideshow to what I was doing at the time, and I intended to look up what it was - and now I know. Thanks!

Stuck in DC with bad weather and storms. We got showers but they are mostly water.

Somebody should take some pictures.

Big cat was probably from Boulder orginally, but was moved to SW Colorado because it frightened all the tree huggers...
