Thinking of next optic, thinking Elcan Specter DR, any reviews/opinions

I have used a TA31 on my issued weapon and before leaving active duty bought one for my personal owned rifle. I really like the though of a variable powered optic, but the elcan seems like a great compromise between a M68 and an acog with an illuminated reticle. Just getting some opinions or reviews of those with real world formal use. Thanks in advance, stay safe and keep up the good fight.

Jumping the gun.

After your Introduction, you should press hard and frequently on the Search button. Blitzzz

Any particular reason you couldn't ask by posting on the older thread?

There is no reward for starting new ones, and it makes the info harder to find for those who do search.

And after searching I did find older threads but neglected to post on them, that would have made more since, sorry for messing up the natural order.

Rather than take up space & time here, if you go to my thread on the Elcan Specter DR on the FN forum you can read how well Elcan addressed a minor POI shift on my new Specter DR mounted on a SCAR 16. In my opinion it is a great sight for it's intended purpose. Here is the link http://fnforum.net/viewtopic.php?p=179791#179791
