George W. Underwood.

On this day, July 23, 1964 Sp/4 George W. Underwood a medic from C Company 1st Special Forces Gp. Airborne 1st. Special Forces while on TDY with Detachment A-312 assigned to Buon Bring Vietnam was shot and killed in a well executed ambush while on a convoy returning to the CIDG Special Forces Camp with supplies. George's name is om The Wall Panel 1E Row 59.

"Not everyone who lost his life in Vietnam died there... Not everyone who came home from Vietnam ever left there." UNKNOWN AUTHOR.
