Adobe Reader

I am having huge difficulties with adobe reader; is there an alternative program I can use.

Foxit has a free PDF viewer that you can get here: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/

yes, I did download updates, and once I did my system became inoperable. I could not access documents of more than one page. A pop up would tell me that there was an error in reading more than one page.

Kyobanim suggested I Uninstall it, then reboot and reinstall it. That he would have to go through that every once in a while.
I did exactly that, and now, everything is in order.
