OTB DesertLite Boots

Does anyone know if these boots are authorized for SFAS? I searched but couldn't find anything. Here is a photo. Thank you.

They aren't on the packing list's authorized boots. However, I was just at selection and there were a large amount of candidates wearing many different kinds of boots not on that list: lots of Nikes, Oakleys, and OTBs.

I wore the OTBs and had no issues there. They were great boots. Lightweight, dried very fast, and very comfortable.

I would recommend bringing two pairs of issue-style boots and then the OTBs so that you are covered if they say you can't wear them.

I recommend wearing a properly fitted and well broken-in boot on the list.

There are no magic carpets allowed at SFAS.

Maybe your class will be the one they choose to enforce the rules. How would you like to come back home early because you were one of those who could not follow simple instructions?

I also recommend that you use the Search button before starting any new threads in the future.

This was already answered in post #3.
