General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Army Col. David G. Fox, for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Fox is currently serving as commander, Iraq Assistance Group, U.S. Forces-Iraq, Iraq.
Congratulations Col. Fox.

Yes he was.
He was also on the ground with Karzai very early in the war.

Congrats on the promotion.
Remember as the Garrison CDR he had a lot of stupid people riding bikes. That is probably why he had that outlook then. He used to ride in his younger years........ Commanders have to manage things for the good of the whole even if he likes to do it personnaly......

Ah yes, him and the Fighting 3 shop left us stranded in Jordan to "Figure Out" how to get into the Sandbox because that's where they were headed.........the S-3 was Don Bolduc the Current CJSOTF-A Commander and my former Co in C 2/5..........Those were weird times just after 9-11.........they tossed the book out on that one!!!!!!!
