The media can truly make me sick sometimes.

Wow - My kids are in their mid to upper teens now and what they watched growing up was totally embedded with Ayers / Gore messaging. I can only imagine how bad it is now.
Too bad they didn’t portray Dora as a little kid beaten-up by SEIU thugs…

OK call me stupid
OK call me stupid.
First off I didn't know Dora was a "Latina".
Second, since I didn't know she was a "Latina" why would I give any thought as to if she was legal or illegal.
Third, as far as I know there are countless legal Latinas and Latinos in the US.

Ah so, desu ka wakarimashita,, You don't have G-kids,, Just wait...
Dora and Go-Diego-Go are SA based and use Spanish phrases regularly.
My 4yr G-daughter watches Nik Jr insistently.
Good shows for little ones, but they have a fair amount of PC influence..
As to Dora's legality?? Who cares...

Under the new AZ SB 1070 - would any station broadcasting a program which 'knowingly employed' an illegal immigrant character be considered 'encouraging or inducing' illegal immigration and, therefore, in violation of the law?
And so it goes...

The Deport Dora FB pages are already getting cranked up - wonder if they'll be as big a hit as Draw "Mo" Day

Sad sad sad
I just think it's sad that adults reach for childrens ICON's in order to express their point of view as a result of their own ability to communicate properly.
No excuse.

Daughter # 1 has the first G-kid chuted up but still sitting in the troop seats. Due over the DZ in August. Daughter # 3 will still be 10.
All my daughters were more interested in Discovery, History and NatGeo.
Dora and the rest of the nick gang were seen on lunch boxes and flicked through on the TV.

The illegal alien point is pointless. She lives in Yucatan. She won't be crossing the border on foot any time soon.
It's as pointless as many political points.

This is true with TV in general, is it not? It's a box of lights with an agenda, be it commercial interests or political doctrine.
