Tennessee Floods

This is right here in my backyard. All these pics are from 1 to 10 minutes away from me.

It's a mess and it still hasn't stopped. Raw sewage is now floating through neighborhoods.

I used to live right over there, near the Food Lion up the road from you. I've already heard of apartment complexes being flooded, and neighbors panicking. Best of luck, and be safe!

CoCoRaHS precip maps

It's interesting to check the 24 hour precip maps from the local watchers at the CoCoRaHS site.

http://www.cocorahs.org/Maps/ViewMap.aspx

Just drag and click on Tenn and then the county.

To find multiple day totals you would have to check each station.

You can hunt and peck around Tenn to see where the most rain fell.

And CoCoRaHS is always looking for more volunteers.

We're fine - just a bit of a mudslide onto our back patio (we live on a hill). I used to complain every time I had to mow - no more. Ours is the highest point in our neighborhood, so as long as we don't have ice on our driveway and too much mud to our rear, we're good.

How about you? Need any help?
