constant "loading"

Seems to only happen on this site.
next to the arrow cursor there is that little blue clockwise-spinning circle that usually means something is loading. It is there all the time. But doesn't interfere with any actions I take ie. posting, searching, moving from thread to thread etc

On the tab in the upper right corner to the left of Professional Soldiers. com it just spins away and in the lower left corner there is a note "Waiting for www. professionalsoldier.com Oh and when I move the cursor toward the lower left corner it hops to the other side. I can make it jump back and forth. Amusing for about a tenth of a second.

I have closed and re-opened; I have re-started; I have turned it off and even unplugged it (but it is a laptop so it has a battery) . . . I have have asked it nicely to "please stop doing that thing" and threatened it with a hammer and screwdriver.

It is bugging the crap out of me. Any suggestions? (

(If TS has taken control of my computer to do some really cool super-secret thing in the expectation that I wouldn't notice -- I went to SERE to get out of going to computer school -- then nevermind.)

Which web browser are you using? Does it happen on other browsers?

It could help if you delete the browser cache/cookies. Sometimes, when a browser gets overloaded with stored information, it acts weird.

Sounds like you're using Firefox, as do I , and I do not have those problems. Google it, and for a temp fix, try hitting Stop after the page loads. Check your firewalls, and update everything, browser, antivirus, firewalls, and even flash and java. Good luck.
