"..............It didn’t take long for the five judges — one from each branch — to make their decision. The Army Drill Team took the trophy from last year’s winner, the Navy, which handed it off to Col. David Anders, regimental commander of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard).
For the Army Drill Team, it wasn’t an emphasis on the competition itself, but on giving a good performance to a large audience.............."
