Question FSBs around Bunard 1970

Hello,

I have been sharing e-mails with a former SF soldier who was at Bunard, VN in 1969. During our conversations he mentioned that in March of 1970, after he'd been medevaced out, the camp was turned over to the SVN Rangers. He mentioned that there were also some Fire Support Bases around the camp after he left.

He's been looking for info on these FSBs but hasn't been able to find any. I'm guessing locations, names, general info. I'm hoping if someone here can help him out, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Chin

I was at Budop that time period.

I would begin with the 1st Cav and elemwnts.

They were responsible for a lot of that type stuff in that area.

They set up a little FSB a couple ks fom camp and put 5 155s inside our perimeter one night.

Thanks Mike, it's a start.

If you don't mind my asking, did 1st Cav put 5 guns inside your perimeter or rounds?

Appreciate the lead.
