Members of PS.com.....I need your help.
I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision. I haven't been posting on here as of late, because I've been going through a VERY traumatic time in my life.
I don't mean to bring my problems here, but this is so important to me, and with the WEALTH of knowledge here on this board, I just had to ask for advice/help.
I’ve suspected for some time now that my girlfriend has been cheating on me. The usual signs: Phone rings, I answer, caller hangs up. She started going out ‘with the girls’ a lot recently, although when I ask which girls, it is always "Just some friends from work, you don’t know them." I always look out for her taxi coming home, but she always comes walking up the driveway as I hear a car setting off…as if she had exited the car ’round the corner.
Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her?
Anyway, I have never approached the subject with her. I think deep down I just didn’t want to know the truth but last night, she went out again, and I decided to wait for her outside. I decided I was going to set up my hide site, behind my truck, which would give me a view of the whole street, so I could see which car she gets out of. I saw a vehicle come up the street, stop a few houses away from mine, and 2 people, one of whom looked a lot like my girlfriend, with another man, in a very passionate embrace. It was whilst crouched behind my truck that I felt my heart almost stop and my breath come in short gasps........I noticed rust around my rear wheel arch.
Should I take it into a body repair shop or should I buy some stuff from the local auto shop and try to repair it myself?

Sdiver, you are a good guy, intelligent, funny, dedicated, loyal, trusting, caring and from this post, honest and vulnerable; it hard being dumber than a bag of hammers, rust never sleeps. Sell the truck

Instincts
You have to trust your instincts. If it looks like rust, feels like rust........
I suggest a new model. Ditch the old one mate.

You got me
If we ever meet in person I am going to stick you in the leg with my pig sticker -- While reading, I was formulating ways to have some fun with the guy cheating with your girl, when you ruined it for me.

I'll hold him down, and when you're done we'll trade places.
I was half way through thinking the same thing (practically teary-eyed). The B!t@h, . . . oh, rust, NOW that's bad.
Hope it's not too old a truck, no wait what if it's paid for? Ohhhhh crap! What if it's a real nice old one he's restoring? Like the guy across the street. . . Man I love it when he let's me help. Like when I got to power sand it with him. Oh sure, MRFL about divorced me since I didn't change out of my work clothes.
What was his damn problem? Oh yeah, a chick. . . then noticed it was in his usual hangout -- comedy.
