Not to get nit pickey but it won't be starship troopers until they let everyone serve, that was one of the premisis of the story and combat had nothing to do with it. It was federal service.

Order was restored to a chaotic society by the veterans.
The post/link was an allusion to that part of the story.

Right now, our government is not functioning properly (not well-regulated ).
It seems some veterans aim to address this problem directly.
