Dulles Airport and Obama

So yesterday I am about 29 hours into my 36 hour trek home from the UAE when I have a 7.5 hour layover in Dulles. During that time I spent quite a bit of it walking around the C and D terminal (I think I walk back and forth 12 times) because my butt is numb from sitting for the 14.5 hour flight in from Doha.

Anyway, during my meandering up and down the concourse I take a time to stop and look at all the stores because I don't have much else to do. I am not sure how many of you have spent time in DC since the elections, but I have quite a bit. And the normal purveyors of goods have until this point had a lot of Pro Obama wares.

Yesterday I noticed a remarkable change. I would say a a good 50% of the goods being sold in relation to Obama were now negative. IE Keep the Change, and many of the other mantras we have seen and posted here over the past year and a half.

I found it to be absolutly amazing. It used to be that 100% of the goods in relation to Obama within the airports in DC used to be positive. Now they are actively selling anti-Obama paraphenalia.

Could people, even within the Beltway actually, be coming to their senses?

Opportunity knocks infrequently, take advantage of it as it avails... The kiosks at airports have be be running on very slim margins. I can count on one TOE how many times I have even walked thru one in the last 20 years.

It takes a while for some to come to their senses.
