This week's Health Care Meeting

It has been in the news the last two weeks about the Health care Meeting between Obama, the Ds and the Rs.

The 1st big first point was Obama has asked the R's to give their input at the meeting.

The second big point is the D's have combined the House and Senate version of their bill and are ready to push it through.

Now I know a lot of you folks who don't listen to Rush don't like what he says - hmmm - but he has been saying for two weeks this meeting is a trap for the R's.

They are going to walk in and be handed the D's plan - that most Americans don't want - maybe get one or two items they wanted included - and ask to vote on it. What do they do? Vote for it to be liked by the MSM or vote No and be called the Party of NO.

On this one Rush says wear the badge of "NO" with pride.

We'll see how it goes by the end of the week.

I have no problem with the Party of No, especially for this bill.

With respect, there's a third option. Make the Democrats say "no." This could be achieved by presenting three or four economically viable reforms that the Democrats could not accept without great political risk.
