Language Question

I'm unsure how to word this but here goes: I'm a civilian in the process of learning how to speak Russian. Assuming I become relatively comfortable with the language, what opportunities exist? Also I am looking for someone who already speaks the language in order to practice my skills. Any suggestions?
I live in the Southern Pines,NC area.
Thanks

I can't speak with any authority on benefits of speaking a language prior to enlisting, but as far as local speakers I can say that I've had some luck with tutors, many of whom speak a target language as their native tongue. You're paying them for their time, of course, but it can afford you an otherwise potentially rare opportunity of spending a concentrated amount of time just talking to someone who speaks the language you're trying to learn.

There are opportunities in the government, military, and private business. Do some research.
