Not saying whether this quote is true or false, but the fact that the page is spattered with warnings such as this should make one want to dig deeper.

Keep in mind that sites such as Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, to include the biased, uninformed or those with ulterior motives. A prime example is a quote attributed to French composer Maurice Jarre on his Wikipedia page, which was published throughout the world in newspapers and internet postings. The quote was made up by a college student, yet thousands took it as fact instead of exercising due diligence.
