When did the Governator become a conservative and why would they put Joe Leiberman in the top 30 ahead of Rove and Scalia?

Guess they're giving AH-nold credit for his recent outspoken comments on healthcare?
Liberman is same with the strong remarks on the GWOT!
He's got to be the smartest Senator on National Security issues.

Neither are fiscal hawks, both are pro abortion, pro-gun control and global warming peddlers and Lieberman was an outspoken critic of the health care bill before he voted for it. Supporting the GWOT makes you a patriot but by no means a conservative IMHO. Ed Koch is a big supporter of the GWOT and still a flaming liberal in just about every sens of the word.
I could stomach them on this list at 99 and 100 but putting Lieberman ahead of real, bonafide conservatives who have walked the walk for decades is a bit much.

No matter how close they are to the "top" they are still nothing more than politicians.
Listening to any of them talk makes me feel like I need a shower.

I'm with Billy on this one. Though I'm not sure it'll come off without taking a layer of skin too. W-M - after you retire, you'll have to write another book about your recent past.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
