Disgusted w/ 2009 Under Armor All-American Game, Orlando

For the rising college football stars to showcase their skills and talents with the stands mostly occupied by parents and younger football recruits. It was good up until they put this clown on stage for the half time show jumping around with his underwear hanging out looking like he should be...well, a thug; Jeezy.

What a joke and a disgrace. Who in the world selected Jeezy, who associates with (aka: accessory to "fill-in-the-blank") the likes of Gucci Mane & Shawty Redd? (I teach secondary edu, this is the only reason how i know who these folks are and what poor examples they set).

This is the problem with the youth, especially those from inner-city. We can't prevent them from watching them on MTV or the internet, but why allow these thugs to have access to our youth, like ESPN/Under Armor has done today and events that should be reinforcing positive behavior and civility?

Thinking about sending an email to ESPN/Under Armor.

You are right. It polluted the game. I wish young people would look up to respected professionals, soldiers, police, firefighters, doctors, etc. i.e.- those who serve others, instead of people who are always trying to neglect self-responsibility and those who serve themselves.

That is what attracted me to the QPs as a lad. Their heroism that they displayed and professionalism. They never praised themselves, just did the mission and their responsibility/duty. Thats someone to look up too.
