Grim Reaper II

Three Spec Ops types on a joint mission are KIA. They show up at the Pearly Gates.

St Pete looks down at the three and says, “Men, it’s the Christmas season and so in order to gain entry you have to produce something related to the season”.

The first is a SEAL. He reaches into his cargo pocket, pulls out a lighter and says, “Candles for the season.” St Pete is impressed and lets him pass thru.

The second, an Army Ranger reaches into his pocket, removes a set of keys which he begins to jingle and says, “Bells for the season.” St Pete is equally impressed and lets him pass thru.

The third, a Special Forces Master Sergeant pulls off his beret, removes the pair of panties that functioned as the liner and says, “These are Carol’s”.

Sounds entirely plausible to me - so where's the punch-line?

Good one.
